Every plaque begins as a carefully selected slab of solid wood chosen for its durability, timeless qualities, and distinct grain patterns that make every piece unique. No two plaques are identical. They are then cut to size and sanded down to a smooth surface.

The creative process starts by designing the piece from scratch. Then I engrave an excerpt of the United States Constitution, creating a layered visual effect that immediately stands out while still allowing the natural beauty of the wood to show through.

Every edge is chamfered with a subtle 45-degree break for a clean, finished appearance. The wood is then sealed using a natural oil-based finish to enhance the wood grain before receiving a protective polyurethane topcoat designed to help resist scratches and preserve the integrity of the piece over time.

The back includes a precision-cut keyhole hanger so your plaque is ready to display right out of the box.
